Brass gallery rail or tipping rail has been such a popular decorative item recently. It is relatively hard to find a store that sells them in Australia, let alone offers them in unlacquered finish. If you're looking for these rails, then congratulations! You have come to the right place.
What components should I buy?
Our brass gallery rail consists of two main components: the posts and the rods.
There are holes on the posts through which the rods will slide. There are 3 types of posts that suit 3 types of location on your shelves including: middle posts, end posts and corner posts. See below picture for reference (note: the below is not our design)
The rods are 6mm in diameter and come in 3 lengths: 30cm, 40cm and 50cm, which are the most popular distances between the posts. Most of of the time, you will need an odd-sized length for your end pieces, which can be easily cut down from our standard sizes.
Be mindful of the recessed distance from the edges of the shelves to the posts, so that you can calculate your rail length more accurately.
Based on the above information, you can work out how many pieces you need for each component. If you are still unsure, message us in the chat box on the bottom right corner for more help.
